Yoga Therapy is the process of empowering individuals to improve their health and wellbeing. It is complimentary to other healing modalities.
Christine uses the tools and principles of yoga to assess and plan an individual program. She understands the importance of the therapeutic relationship with her clients.
Yoga Therapy can aid in the management of:
- Back, neck and joint pain
- Depression, anxiety and stress
- Autoimmune diseases
- Eating disorders and addictions
Yoga Therapy can be conducted in individual or group contexts and is suitable for all ages and abilities.

Christine has specialist training as a Yoga Therapist and Yoga Practitioner. She has a Degree in Education, a Diploma in Yoga, Graduate Certificate in Yoga Therapy and has specialised training in Children’s Yoga to Mastery level.
She is passionate about teaching the benefits of yoga as a tool in the prevention of disease and empowering clients to self-manage their conditions.
There are many reasons people invite yoga into their lives. Yoga is something I dabbled in as a teenager with books from the library. As a young adult I tried it again but life was busy and so it sat patiently in the background for many years.
Then along came the ‘mature’ years and luckily yoga knocked on the door again.
Because ‘the mature years’, for me, are a time when all the benefits of yoga are really needed! If you’ve been curious about yoga, but not sure if it’s for you, then come along to one of Christine’s classes. You will feel comfortable with Christine from the moment you meet and she will introduce you to yoga and its many benefits.
Yoga is much more than just bending and stretching.
Your mind and body will feel more relaxed and able to cope with the curve balls of life. You will learn breathing techniques that you’ll use every day. You’ll also be smiling at how much more flexible your body is feeling. Your balance and co-ordination will improve too and this is very important as we grow older.
Christine is very dedicated to helping you do your best with yoga.
That’s what makes yoga so enjoyable. It’s not a competition and you don’t feel pressured. You participate to a level where you feel comfortable and at the same time Christine is there to guide and encourage you.
In the time I’ve been learning yoga with Christine I’ve seen how passionate and committed she is to share the yoga way of life with us and at the same time how she continues her own learning and studies.
Christine is an extraordinary person who genuinely cares about others. She will encourage and inspire you and do her very best, so you can be your very best.
